During the 1980s, Swiss artist Heidi Bucher produced so-called water drawings. These modestly-scaled works served as Bucher’s investigation into what is perceived as the natural form and color of water. Bucher had a lifelong fascination with water (particularly the ocean). The works on paper presented in the exhibition complement her installation “The Source” that is on display at Ewha Woman’s University’s The Valley.
