Previous edition of Seoul Digital Summit 2018
The world is now faced with various urban challenges such as safety, environment issues, and this applies to Seoul as well. Seoul believes that smart city technologies and policies will be able to offer new and innovative ways to address these common urban problems. In this context, the Seoul Metropolitan Government organizes the 4th Seoul Smart City Summit and a related Conference on October 1-2, 2019. These events will convene Mayors, CEOs and smart city experts to discuss ways to develop sustainable smart cities, share their experiences, strengthen global cooperation and harness the global smart city market.
Re-thinking Cities Workshop aim to facilitate a dialogue on digitalization between players from public and private sector actively involved in urban planning and development of solutions to urban challenges. They will engage in multiple discussions oriented to analyze the current status of cities like Zurich and Seoul, identify challenges and propose solutions in a cooperative spirit. Special attention will be devoted to topics as civic participation, sustainability and inclusive platforms for cooperation in the digital era

Interested citizens from academic, political and economic spheres as well as facilitators, young entrepreneurs, social innovators and more are welcome! Choose your favorite topic and register in one of the groups.
Documents including the information about the workshop such as logistics, contents, expectations and potential follow-ups will be provided in advance to the participants in order to enhance the ideation process and facilitate the exchange
